Does your child struggle with reading, focusing, or frequent headaches?

With just one no-stress screening you could be saving thousands of dollars and years of avoidable learning struggles for your child!

You've heard your child say:

"I can't see the words clearly"

"I get tired so quickly from reading"

"I don't like reading anymore"

And you've seen them:

Having emotional outbursts or avoiding studying (more than other kids)

Fidgeting and unable to focus

Complaining about sensitivity to light

You've tried mostly everything to help them.

Taking care of a child with learning difficulties is tough. We know.

Medications, brain scans, eye checkups. tutoring, counselling. The list goes on.

And you've worried: "Will they be able to live a normal life?"

You're not alone.

At the Irlen® Institute, during the last 40 years, we have treated millions of children (and adults!) around the world whose parents have felt the same.

Have you heard of Irlen® Syndrome?

As many as 1/3 of people diagnosed with ADD may actually have Irlen® Syndrome.

A child is meant to play and explore, but with misdiagnosed learning difficulties they end up feeling bad or stupid that they can't be like their peers.

Irlen® Syndrome tends to be overlooked in diagnoses like ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, Reading Problems and Light Sensitivity.

Not to worry, this simple yet scientific solution may be the answer.

Irlen® Syndrome is a type of visual or perceptual processing disorder. When an individual suffers from Irlen Syndrome®, their brain has difficulty processing certain wavelengths of light. In this way, light (especially bright and fluorescent lighting) becomes a stressor on the brain.

This stress causes certain parts of the brain (e.g., the visual cortex) to become overactive. It is this over-activity and inability to effectively process visual stimuli that creates a variety of visual, physical, cognitive, emotional, and neurological symptoms.

What is the Irlen® Method?

A non-invasive method that uses color overlays and spectral filters to block out offensive light rays.

This improves the brain's ability to process visual information!

We use advanced colour spectrometry to ensure the lens and filters meet the highest standards of excellence.

And there are millions more just like them!

“When I first learned about Irlen Syndrome, I was skeptical.I never heard about it in my psychiatry training program.Yet, over time I had friends and family members who benefited from the treatment.Remarkably, when people obtain benefit from the treatment, it helps to balance brain function. One of the factors that drew me to Irlen Syndrome and the Irlen treatment is its simplicity and effectiveness.Daniel Amen, M.D., Amen Clinics, Newport Beach, CA

What is an Irlen® Screening?

Using 40 years of research on the effects of light & colour on the brain we create:An engaging, fun, and non-invasive series of interactive tests designed to see if your child has the symptoms of Irlen® Syndrome. As a child aid by profession, I understand how to create the necessary comfortable atmosphere during these sensitive times.Bring your tissues! As these tests have made parents cry as they see the joy of reading and learning come back to their child. From there we will give recommendations on how to improve their environment and decide if Spectral Filters (the cool-looking coloured lens) are required!

Small positive changes done early
have major positive outcomes on a child's life.

Even adults who find out they have Irlen Syndrome wish they been tested sooner.

For many, a lifetime of learning difficulties could have been avoided.
